About Me

This is the web log of Johannes H. Jensen.

I'm a student currently living in Trondheim, Norway where I study Computer Science at NTNU. I will complete my Master's degree in 2011.

I'm a programmer, currently mastering C, PHP, Java, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and shell scripting. I'm an Open Source-enthusiast, and have worked a lot with UNIX-based systems like Linux. Open Source projects I'm involved in include GNOME, Ubuntu, PHP as well as my own projects.

I work part time as a system administrator and developer in a company called Aptomar, which specialize in embedded maritime systems.

Apart from that, I'm a jazz- and classical pianist. I'm very interested in music, and jazz is definitely the genre I find most interesting. I also very much enjoy much classical music. Of all the classical music I've heard, I think I find impressionist music the most beautiful of all (Debussy, Chopin, etc.) I also enjoy various rock groups like Radiohead and The Beatles.

Most of my time I'm studying, tinkering with PHP/C, hacking on GNOME, playing with Python, listening to music (especially Bill Evans), playing the piano, watching TV or sleeping...
